  2. Are you guys bringing out the trailor for a noon game?

Just curious if it's for post-game only or if you are gonna do a 3-hour pre-game.

  5. WCJB-TV 20 Sports has learned Florida defensive end Jarvis Moss has been suspended for Saturday's game against Western Carolina. Moss tested positive for marijuana. After practice Tuesday night, Gator head coach Urban Meyer would only say "We're dealing with something right now, but I'm not ready to announce that."

  6. James - Rojas says that UAA policy states the first infraction is 10% of season which is 1.6 quarters. Will he miss some of FSU game also?

  7. From the UAA Handbook:

If the positive test is upheld, the student-athlete is to be suspended immediately from competition. The length of the suspension is equal to 10% of the team’s season competition schedule where the student-athlete represents the University of Florida. The suspended events will be the next consecutive events in the schedule. Post-season events are also included in the suspension (e.g., SEC Championships, NCAA Championships,
    Bowl Games, Post-Season Invitational events).

People are talking about %10 of remaining games, but that's not how I read the excerpt above.

  11. This is from an aricle by Bruce Feldman on the ESPN Insider- I don't know if it really means Moss won't be there for the FSU game, but it does imply it.

    • Sounds like there's a bit more trouble in Gatorland. This time it's Jarvis Moss, the DE who won the South Carolina game for the Gators. Luckily for UF, the Gators have I-AA Western Carolina coming up and could easily afford to sit him out. Not having Moss for the FSU game, though, could be a different story.

  12. “He’s suspended for this game,” Meyer said about Moss. “I know it is repetitive, but if he does everything right he will be back for the next game (The reasons are) in house, (he’s) just suspended for this game.”
