Veena and I have our flights. We'll be in Friday morning and are leaving Sunday.

Peacock is coming solo. He shall sleep behind the TV that Bruscia hid behind (yet won't admit) on the evening of the fan free-fall.

ReplyDeleteAparna and I will come on Friday and leave on Sunday. Stephanie is going to the game but not sure where she'll be staying yet.
ReplyDeleteI will be coming up with Ruth-Ann and Chris.. I'll come home with her, as long as she doesn't go into labor, then I'll need another ride home.. Jaime?!?! May I ride home with you if baby Spinosa wants to make sure she is old enough to go to the National Championship game?
ReplyDeleteAlso, may Ruth-Ann have a bed to sleep on.. I'm not sure she'll enjoy getting up from an air mattress every five minutes to go to the rest room. Thank you very much.. And she'll appreciate it greatly.. Chris can sleep on the floor though :)

ReplyDeleteChris/Ruth-Ann, I don't know if you want the upstairs bedroom. The thermostat is like the terminator, once you turn it on it doesn't turn off. If you like sleeping on the Sun then maybe you'll like it.
ReplyDeleteI can get 6 general public tickets together (section 111) from my buddy Hike. It appears that face value is $105 for those. If I don't get my tickets then I will take 2 of those. Let me know who else needs/wants in on these.

Looks like there are some that are going for $225 for a pair. There are other very inflated ones, but this is always the case as people try to fish that don't really intend to sell.
If you watch it enough you can get a pair for $225. However, in my experience tickets at the venue the day of the game are generally $30 to $50 cheaper than on ebay.

Chris and I- possibly need 2
Jaime- needs 1
Jamie and Veena- possibly need 2
Donna and Jim- need 2

We will be calling for SEC tickets tonight. We will let you know how many we get, right now we are calling in for me and Chris, Cassie, Jaime, ChrisT, Bruce, Peacock, Aparna, Jim and Donna.

ChrisT- you are supposed to be a Gator and your phone gods were not looking out for us tonight. We only got through for 3 tickets before they sold out. 1st time in 10 years, we haven't got all the tickets we needed. But don't despair, Chris and I may have 2 tickets and I'm sure we will find more tickets somewhere and we can scalp in Atlanta if needed.

ReplyDeleteI think James is not gonna know about having extra tix until gameday, meaning if you bring a friend, there is a chance they won't be sitting with us and will have to find a ticket.
ReplyDeleteSo they'd be going having to assume they'd be without a ticket, which is a risk they have to decide upon. Also remember these are not bench seats, so there is no sliding of people in the row.
James William has friends in the ATL, as he grew up there.

You got it guy! Is Jordan out?
I have a feeling that we'll end up with an extra ticket or two. We should know for sure by Monday. With that said, every time I've been to this game there have been pairs of tickets for face value and less outside the Dome.

I really don't want to drive up by myself, so even if it's just caravanning, that'll keep me awake at least.
What are your departure plans for Friday? I could always drive up to Gainesville Thurs. night and head out with you all on Friday. Hell I could even leave my car there and drive up with you guys, space and Peacock-tolerance permitting.

Hey Peacock, we are not leaving until 4 pm on friday- when I get off work. We also have Cassie, Jaime, and Aparna riding with us. We can definitly see if we have room for you, if not we can caravan.

ReplyDeleteAnyway. The Peacock does not want to arrive in ATL late on Friday, thus taking Friday off of work.
I wish it would work out that I would hook up with you all and head out, but leaving at 4 p.m. is not worth taking a day off of work.

ReplyDeleteJamie- talked to my wishy/washy brother- Bruce may now be coming but said don't worry about a ticket. Christ dosen't have internet access right now- but said he has 2 friends definitly coming- if you get any tickets they'll take them but I also told Chris it shouldn't be too hard to get tiks there if needed.
I picked up the student tickets today for me, Aparna, and Cassie. They are in section 124 row 31 aisle L33. We also got tickets to the SEC fanfare which looks pretty fun. Anyone else interested? Adult admission is $8.00.

Speaking of fanfare... I think all the tickets I got also come with fanfare tickets if anyone wants to go.
