Looking at our remaing games I really only see two legitimate threats - LSU and Auburn.
1) Alabama - They looked like garbage against Arkansas, they have a new QB and their kicker is the poo. This will be a revenge game that we should win a la the Miss. St. homecoming shutout.
2) Georgia - Starting QB hurt right now, so full analysis is not accurate. I mean trailing 13-0 to Colorado at home in the 4th and winning with under a minute!!!
3) Vanderbilt - No Cutler
4) South Carolina - They look terrible up and down.
5) Western Kentucky - Western Kentucky
6) FSU - yeah they just won 55-7, but it was Rice. Jeff Bowden calling offensive plays. No running game.

LSU is at home, so we have that in our favor. I don't see their RBs as strong as in the past, as Addai is now in the NFL. They have a swarming D and their QB throws rockets.
Auburn - probably most scary game. Away!!! This will make or break our season I think.
If our guys can keep our heads on straight like they have these first 4 games, watch out!!!
Auburn will make or break our season? Heck, if that is the only game we lose then that means we make it to the SECCG... to probably face them. The 1st loss may would be insignificant at worst.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves. How come when I talk about other teams you just say you are focussing on Bama, but then you can make a post like this? Guy?!
> Meyer on practice weather: “If the weather is bad this Tuesday afternoon, I will cancel practice and bring them back at midnight if I have to. We will never miss another practice on Tuesday.”
The bottom 10 on espn's college football page has Florida fans booing Chris Leak on the waiting list to get in. That is terrible. I hope it does not happen again this weekend.
For those of you interested, I received a pass on all three of my papers and am in the process of scheduling my oral defense. Once I pass that, I will be a doctoral candidate which means that I officially begin work on my dissertation!!
should of won a q-back draw on that last play but will look better when we beat number 2 auburn in a couple weeks poor play calling by the ol ball coach if you ask me at the end of the game
I would have like to see them call a quick out to get the first. Then they would have had maybe 2 chances into the endzone... or maybe more. Too bad they used their timeouts early.
Rutgers ranked in the top 25. First time since Pre-Peacock - 1976!!! Watch out West Virginia!!!
ReplyDeleteJaime and I plan to order gator growl tickets later this week. If anyone wants a ticket, let me know.
ReplyDeleteMy flight won't make it in time to go to Growl.
ReplyDeleteAnd James William's flight is into Orlando so Jeffrey Wallace will not make Growl either. Sorta sad, but sorta not. I think more of the latter.
ReplyDeleteI will need a ticket
ReplyDeleteMy sister saw the 100 years of FL football book at Publix of all places. It was $40.00.
ReplyDeleteRuth-Ann, I was thinking about going on Friday to get growl tickets so hopefully I can get them all without you there.
Oh and Peacock could you please send Stephanie another invite? She does not remember receiving the first one. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteEven Mike Bianchi is trying to get me fired up again over the swindle in The Swamp.

ReplyDeleteConsistently inconsistent my friend.

ReplyDeleteGo Kentucky video of gator cheerleader yelling go kentucky
ReplyDeleteVeena, can you put the cloths in the dryer? I didn't have time to do so before work this morning.
ReplyDeleteLOL Jamie, wtf was that. That girl aint even 'cepted my invite yet. Pfft.
ReplyDeleteGood work on that video Bruce. Who is doing all of this computer work for you?
ReplyDeleteGo Kentucky? That is genius, where did she come up with that??
ReplyDeleteI can work the computer fine myself. All I do is surf the internet all day. Its a tough life.
ReplyDeleteHang Ten Bruce!! I'm enjoying the multimedia production.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jaime!
ReplyDeleteHuh Huh, you said Oral defense, huh huh.
ReplyDeletePoorly coached end of the game for South Carolina. 0 run plays on the last few drives with a speedy QB.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Auburn won. I want them ranked high when we play them and we play both teams, so it don't matter.
I'd rather the SEC be top-heavy rather than complete balance.

ReplyDeleteI agree, however I can't be so quick to judge Spurrier. The talent he has up there is inferior. Maybe his O-Line just sux ass.

ReplyDeleteI actually wrote oral defense instead of oral exam because I knew how you'd react Peacock!
