  1. Well, I guess a W is a W. That pretty much sums up most of what that game amounted to.

Kinda glad I was watching at home for most of that game. 1st half was a debacle. Two missed PATs. I bet those of you who were there wanted to vomit.

Out of the gates it looked like we were gonna roll. That sweet 2x end around back to Leak for the TD pass - $. The ensuing missed PAT summed up the rest of the garbage 1st half until the great score in the waning seconds of the first half.

Watching that play on TV, I couldn't tell if the pitch back to Leak was intended or not. He had to flick it over the head of an LB to Leak. After a few replays it did look planned. Why we brought that play out vs. Kentucky is ? but I guess in big games, you play more conservatively. Nonetheless...

Great two-minute drill at the end of the half to get the Wynn TD. Another missed PAT. I guess Hetland wasn't thinking that he had to kick the ball over the hands of the DL/LB. Blah.

Roaring out of the gates in the 2nd half after a nice tongue lashing from Meyer. O got on a roll and D stepped up and stopped giving up garbage yards. Great run-stop game again.

Trautwein was $ on 3 big blocks for Baker on screens that went for like average 30 yards. We did another screen with Baker, but Ingram and Jemalle blocked that time. All great plays.

O-Line played well, but not as well as vs. UT. Leak was sacked, pressured too much. Tebow was a monster coming in. How bout that side arm pass to Baker for the negated TD. $. Curse the stupid fans who boo Leak and then cheer him. Stupid freshman and idiot students. End subject.

Tebow and Leak are very good compliments to each other. I still would like to see Tebow do some passing, but if it aint broke...

Wynn was back to the old Wynn a bit. He carried the ball on that fumble like he was out in the open field. Fortunately we got that ball back for a 22-yard gain after KY poked it out with ease. Moore looked the best I've seen him this year.

Overall an average game. Time for a W over 'Bama. They looked atrocious. We better win that game.

  2. Watching the game on ESPN is torture. Update after update from sister-stations. It is not a good choice.

  3. Unfortunately it wasn't just students booing Leak, there were just as many alumni and boosters. The ones later cheering for Leak, were all the people who were disgusted with the booing and cheering for Tebow. It was the most dissapointed and angry I have ever been with our fans. On an up note, post game- Chris Leak was the last one off the field after doing an interview, as he was running across the field to get to the locker room the remaining fans started cheering for him and just before he went into the tunnel he raised his helment above his head to acknowledge everyone.

  4. Leak raised his helmet above his head to say F-U to those who booed him!!!

  5. On a side-note, coming back from commercial in the 2nd half, they were zoomed in on a Florida female cheerleader. She inexplicably said "Go Kentucky" and then gave a "oh my gosh, holy shit" look and was reminded of what she just said by off-screen cheerleaders and she barely got out "Beat Kentucky" before the camera panned off of her. She's gonna eat that egregious error. It was way LOL.

  6. The fans weren't booing Chris Leak. They were booing the decision to take Tebow out of the game in the red-zone after each of 2 very impressive drives.

  7. Why was Urban Meyer wearing a long-sleeve jacket during the entire game?

  8. The fans in my section were booing Chris Leak, and were chanting Tebow in the 2 series prior to him coming in. The may have been some booing the decision but I think just as many were booing Leak.

  9. Then I think you misinterpret their booing. I agree that there are always some who find it fun to boo the starting QB, we had one in our section. However, the majority of the reaction was a natural feeling of wanting the momentum of the drive to continue. How did you feel when Chris Leak threw an ill-advised pick to finish what Tebow so electifyingly started?

Also, chanting Tebow is not booing leak.

With all that said, I detest any of the booing and wish that all I heard was grumbling. We never had booing of that magnitude in the SOS years.

  10. They were booing cuz they couldn't see the female cheerleaders' undies. I was even booing from home.

  11. I guess this game was so blah, that the booing allegations are the only topic at hand. I tend to agree.

  12. Let's not miss the forest here through all the trees... Tebow is a man among boys. He is electrifying and I am very excited about his future.

  13. I agree that Tebow is exciting to watch and I look forward to what he can bring to this team (I just want to see him throw the ball more), I also think he seems mature and is handeling the hype well. But we will have to agree to disagree with the booing- the people around me were not booing the decision.

  14. I will add that a Mrs. Tebow shirt is not anti-Leak :) It is possible to support both QBs. I just happen to think one is hot!
