The defense and and special team video was good but too bad all but one punt return was called back because of holding calls and i like how the leak video starts out with him getting sacked twice. But other then that great videos and hopefully we can add more to those videos in month.
I didn't but Reche Caldwell had 9 catches for over 100 yards this last week and is N.E.'s #1 WR. C. Jack has been hurt. Darrel Jackson is one of the top 10 WRs in the NFL and Ciatrick Fason rushed for almost 100 yards and a TD last week subbing for the injured starter.
Besides, I dont' care about the correlation between Gators at UF and in the NFL. Most notably, see Reidel Anthony.
I just caught the tailend of it. He was just saying if he had a vote he would have voted for Michigan and doesnt see how Florida even got in there. Not sure how it came up.
People were talking on gatorcountry about tix to the game and they were debating loyal fans vs rich fans. This is an interesting post someone posted.
Re: Timing of ticket office notification? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Its pretty much official UAA policy that loyalty is not as important as money.
Look at the priority point system: 1 pt per $100 donated; .5 pt per consecutive year holding season tickets.
In other words, two years of "loyalty" is worth exactly $100. To carry it out farther, one year at the minimum BullGator level of $12,500 is worth 125 points or 250 years of "loyalty"
Sources within the Miami Athletics Department have told select boosters that their interest in Texas Tech Coach Mike Leach has slowed due to the emergence of a surprise candidate. UGA Coach Mark Richt has expressed some interest in returning to his alma-mater. Miami feels they need a coach who could turn around the bad image that has developed, and Richt would be the perfect man for the job. The biggest obstacle is Richt's buyout at UGA. By releasing this information to boosters, Miami is hoping to gauge booster interest in helping pay for the buyout. If enough interest is shown, look for Miami to make a push for Richt.
He has been their defensive coordinator for years and is highly touted.
He also is black and the Black Whatever College whatever was talking lawsuits at one point I think.
However, not that I care about Miami, but that is a good hire. Besides, who the crap else wants to be around that program besides people who already own a house down there and are rooted in.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida State fullback Joe Surratt had surgery on his right shoulder Friday and will miss the Dec. 27 Emerald Bowl against UCLA.
said that if leak had played in the sysyem he and Wuerffel played in he would have shattered all UF passing stats and that leak was the best passer ever at UF save perhaps rex's stronger arm. so in a way a backhand dis of this offense. also said or implied that this was the best collection of offensive talent ever at UF. said only Quez was fast enough to stay with this bunch

Geaux LSU!! notre dame loses 9 straight bowl games. Pathetic. They weren't ever in the game tonight. LSU was much faster and even more physical at every position.
I cry for Michigan - big tears.
ReplyDeleteBwa ha ha.
SWEET GATOR DEFENSE AND SPECIAL TEAM COMPILATION!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is for Ruth-Ann:
ReplyDeleteChris Leak
Anybody have pics from last weekend to post?
ReplyDeleteI like both videos- I will miss Chris Leak next year and if they win the national championship he will be remembered as one of the great Florida QB's
ReplyDeleteThe defense and and special team video was good but too bad all but one punt return was called back because of holding calls and i like how the leak video starts out with him getting sacked twice. But other then that great videos and hopefully we can add more to those videos in month.
ReplyDeleteThat RFN hit on that LSU WR that shot the ball loose like 20 feet in the air to Ryan Smith is so flippin incredible!!!
ReplyDeleteI have some pics... I'll post them as soon as I get a chance.
ReplyDeleteSo I am watching the Victoria's Secret Show that I taped last night and find that they flew into L.A. on the airline that I used to work for!!!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I think I should have stayed there at least until today.
Pfft.
I did e-mail them and tell them to send me pics. :)
Just saw on sportscenter that UF oversold their allotment of tickets and will have to refund some 800 tickets.
ReplyDelete800 tickets is not that many out of 14,800.
ReplyDeleteWho saw sportscenter where Tom Brady said "Obviously Florida isn't any good." ??
ReplyDeleteWhere are Reche Caldwell, Jabar Gaffney, and Chad Jackson?
I didn't but Reche Caldwell had 9 catches for over 100 yards this last week and is N.E.'s #1 WR. C. Jack has been hurt. Darrel Jackson is one of the top 10 WRs in the NFL and Ciatrick Fason rushed for almost 100 yards and a TD last week subbing for the injured starter.

Circulating the net as a great line:
ReplyDelete75% of the world is covered by water… the rest is covered by Reggie Nelson.
I saw it. I couldnt believe what he was saying. I never liked him and seeing him say that stuff just made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteBruce, elaborate... I just read about it. Did not see it. What exactly did he say? Was he responding to a question or was it unprovoked?
ReplyDeletePeacock, where did you find that RFN quote?? It's awesome.
ReplyDeletePeacock, what of Reidel?
ReplyDeletedon't know who said RFN quote. Maybe some fan. Dunno.
ReplyDeletedon't know who said RFN quote. Maybe some fan. Dunno.
ReplyDeleteThat's not what I asked you.
I just caught the tailend of it. He was just saying if he had a vote he would have voted for Michigan and doesnt see how Florida even got in there. Not sure how it came up.
ReplyDeleteRICH RODRIGUEZ to take Bama job.
ReplyDeleteRFG got screwed didnt win the Jim Thorpe award.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Hetland can get us the top placekicker award.

ReplyDeleteWhat?? Which guy beat out RFN??
ReplyDeleteThe guy from Texas.
ReplyDeleteThat's B.S.
ReplyDeleteAlso, ESPN reporting Randy Shannon new miami coach? Who is that guy?
Their D Cord.
ReplyDeleteHe has been their defensive coordinator for years and is highly touted.
ReplyDeleteHe also is black and the Black Whatever College whatever was talking lawsuits at one point I think.

Bruce, who is RFG?
ReplyDeleteTypo You know what i meant
ReplyDeleteI think miami needs to clean house, so I'm not sure it is such a great hire for them. I doubt they had many options.
ReplyDeleteTom Brady's comments and response by David Lee: Link
ReplyDeleteThose are some pretty strong comments for a guy who has three Gators as his WRs.
ReplyDelete1) Reche Caldwell (duh - his bro is on the present Gator team)
2) Chad Jackson (duh - he played under Urban Meyer)
3) Jabar Gaffney (not much to say here.)
I would like to hear what those guys have to say to the Poster Boy Brady.
Too bad we don't have some Gator O-Linemen on that team to let Brady get clobbered.
I think a few dropped passes are warranted.
And Reche is Brady's top target now. Reche had 8 catches for 112 yards last week.
ReplyDeleteI shall give updates on what I hear through my fantasy football network of nerds.
RICH RODRIGUEZ to stay at WV. Saga continues...
ReplyDeleteJamie- are you going to let him compare the Gators to mayonaise in a negative light. Anything involving mayo has to be good.
ReplyDeleteOf course not Ruth-Ann... but I have forgotten where the Mayo reference was. Where is it?
ReplyDeleteThe Brady article- 2nd paragraph
ReplyDeleteExtra-thick Mayo! Can't beat that!
ReplyDeleteI think this guy ran into the other 70%:
ReplyDeleteTALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida State fullback Joe Surratt had surgery on his right shoulder Friday and will miss the Dec. 27 Emerald Bowl against UCLA.
The other 30% I think, unless he requires surgery cuz he fell into the ocean guy!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I said, 30%!
ReplyDeleteAs nice as it was to have a lazy weekend after non-stop college football, this past Saturday was extremely empty.
ReplyDeleteNFL - go away. I say all channels play The Cutting Edge all the time until the NCG.
Good article about Harvin.
ReplyDeleteUrban Meyer interview
ReplyDeleteSkyler Thornton I would guess.
ReplyDeleteShane Matthews at the sec fanfare:

AP All Americans:
ReplyDeleteUF had three.
First Team - RFN
Second Team - Ryan Smith
Third Team - Brandon Siler
Was Skyler a Junior?
ReplyDeleteYes, Skyler was a junior last year.
ReplyDeleteGator Bait
ReplyDeleteThis is a song they have been playing on the radio down here.
All these fools need to be paying Lawrence Wright royalties.
