  1. That throw-back pass to Hernandez might be one of the best called and best executed plays I've seen.

Completeley awesome and it was pouring down rain to boot.

  2. UF's seventh blowout in a row, surprised even UF coach Urban Meyer, who gazed upon the soupy field before the game and expected the worst -- a defensive struggle lasting into the fourth quarter. Meyer said he ''panicked'' before the game and expressed his concern to UF offensive coordinator Dan Mullen.

''A big part of our game is speed, and I stood out there and just stared at that field and it started getting about two to three inches deep with water,'' Meyer said. 'I didn't want to throw it and Dan kept saying to me, `We'll just run the offense.' ''

  3. Way to stay the course Mullen. I think Meyer was a big reason we are so conservative early in any season.

  4. Harvin - high ankle sprain. Availability for SECCG will depend on how it responds to treatment.

My guess is that they will suit him up and put him out there but he'll be more of a decoy for the first couple of series and that's it. Although not like the real Harvin, a Harvin decoy is a pretty strong weapon.

  5. Most players change jerseys at halftime in conditions like this. Tebow didn't. It was his kind of game. He liked the look and feel of his scarred, sodden uniform.

''They made me change my socks, that was it,'' he said. "I've loved playing in the rain since I was a little kid. It brings out more of a physical presence and toughness. Roll around in the mud a little bit. I enjoy it."

"Just go out and be a football player.''

  7. If I were at that game and sitting next to that girl, I hope Heather wasn't there. I would not be watching the game.
