  3. 1. Yes, that Brandon James... he is horrible.

    2. Indeed. Best running between the tackles I've seen in a long time. I'm excited bout EM.

    3. Janoris "Jackson" Jenkins is a stud. That kid is going to be one of the best corners we've ever had.

    4. The play calling on the first drive was brilliant. The inside option to Hernandez was genious.

    5. Goes without saying, but the dual punt return formation is awesome.

  4. I feel like the offense still isnt clicking. Like they haven't found their rhythm. Im not to sure why they keep calling Tebow up the middle so much. They have so many running backs and he hasnt really broken off a big one. Just some things I observed besides all the good stuff.

  5. I'd hate to be the other team when our offense is clicking, but I did think the Tebow ran the ball to much- once 3-4 times in a row.

  6. I agree with you guys completely. But it is possible that they reined in the offense some after being up by 20 points to chew up the clock. The first drive was called brilliantly... after that we looked to just use Percy as a decoy most of the rest of the game.

New clock rules come into play which certainly affect Meyer's strategies.

  7. Meyer:
On what percentage of the playbook has been used:

“The playbook is all there, thankfully we haven’t had to use. We’ve tried to run some different things, which have worked for us. We haven’t felt the need to open up with the leads we’ve had early on in games.”

On how the new clock rules have changed the game:

“The new clock rules have taken at least two or three drives away from us. It’s really frustrating because we feel that the longer we play, the better we get, and the better opportunity we have to beat people. We’re only getting around 50 plays in a game, opposed to last year when it was close to 70 plays. That’s just the game now.”

  8. B.J. - SEC Special Teams Player of the Week. (As if there was another option.)

  9. Its going to be scary when he does open up the playbook. I wouldnt want to be that team.

  10. *IF* he opens up the playbook. They scheme so conservatively if they are able to lean on the D. Add to that the new clock rules and I don't know if we'll ever see it unleashed.

  11. "(Tennessee was a) little dirty, but that's part of football," the transfer running back said. "Whatever you can do to try and win, that's what the SEC's gonna try and do."
