JAX lost big. PETERSON had 7 solo as well. The D is on the field a lot cuz the JAX O is bad. Freddy T had 13 carries for 54 yards, but really they have no O.
Skynard was awesome! Gotta love seeing Freebird in The Swamp. They broke into the Gator Chomp several times on stage and wore some Gator ball caps too.
It's gonna be Dixon unless he flops, besides the obvious fact that Tebow will get shined for being a sophomore and the fact that the Gators have 3 losses, vs. Oregon's 1 and Oregon is in contention for the #2 BCS slot. Dixon's stats are impressive. Obv. not like Tebow, but he's not shoddy. I know for sure he does not affect the outcome of a game like Tebow does though.
The Jaguars couldn't be happier with their first-round pick. Nelson stepped into the starting free safety spot almost immediately and though he's had some rough spots, he continues to improve each week. The ball-hawking center fielder has been all over the field through the first seven games, notching 25 tackles, six passes defended and two interceptions.
The Minnesota Vikings have docked wide receiver Troy Williamson one game check for missing last Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers to attend the Monday funeral of his maternal grandmother.
Williamson's maternal grandmother, who helped to raise him and with whom he was very close, died last week and he returned to South Carolina, where he played a large role in arranging her funeral. He also had to make travel arrangements for several of his siblings, some of whom are in the armed services.
Graham had 124 yds and a TD today for the Bucs.
ReplyDeleteSorry, had to redo poll, cuz forgot that KY can still save us in a tiebreaker.
ReplyDeleteJamar Hornsby & Chevon Walker supposedly in trouble with NCAA for selling tix. Rumor has it they sold their BCS rings too. May transfer. We shall see.
ReplyDeleteRFN - 10 solo tackles vs. NO
ReplyDeleteHow did we ever lose a game when we had RFN??
ReplyDeleteNot too good for your team though if your FS is making 10 tackes. Did they win or lose?
ReplyDeleteE. Graham was a great back for us until d docket took him out for the most important game of his career. Good for him.
ReplyDeleteHere is a good story on Corey Brewer

ReplyDeleteHow was Lynard skynard last Friday?

ReplyDeleteTebow for Heisman?
ReplyDeleteThe stats of the other Heisman candidates aren't even close to those of Mr. Tebow.
ReplyDeleteIt's gonna be Dixon unless he flops, besides the obvious fact that Tebow will get shined for being a sophomore and the fact that the Gators have 3 losses, vs. Oregon's 1 and Oregon is in contention for the #2 BCS slot.
