Mike I can't agree with you more. This team does a few things well that I think will help them make a deep run in the tourney. They don't foul much I believe they said the fewest in the nation. Low turnovers and a great offensive rebounding team.
This team is AWFUL!!! I love to hate on the Gator Hoops teams cuz I guess I got spoiled by hard-working grinders like Haslem, Lee, Noah, Horford, etc... even if some of them, Haslem most notably, was not as talented. They all had guts.
This team compounds their poor play with a low hoops IQ. Defense looked pretty steady. Offense and the free-throw line is just something foul. They have no set offensive pieces, or they do and they don't run them. Limited if any ball movement, no low post presence and then a long perimiter low percentage shot. Completely frustrating to watch.
Gators are National Champs in indoor track and field. Spring sports are doing very well so far I think they can win a few more national championships. He are the rankings for some of the teams baseball (1), softball (6), gymnastic (1), golf mens (2), swimming mens (5).
Great win tonight I know UCSB is not that great of a team but they still came out and shot very well and complete dominated them. I thought Parson was going to get a triple double but glad Donovan took him out took out the chance for an injury.
In an effort to be a positive team player, we begin a series of weekly affirmations to rebuild the confidence of John Brantley, Florida's quarterback who will be so much better in Charlie Weis' system than he was in that horrendously stupid thing Steve Addazio was doing. Chin up, John!

Last year, even little girls sacked the shit out of you. Not this season, bro!
I know it sucks we have no basketball championship to watch this week but we do have a chance to be the first college in history to repeat a national championship this week in something else http://www.flwoutdoors.com/bassfishing/collegefishing/tournament/2010/6176/national-championship-headline-story/150903/gators-win-it-all/

ReplyDeleteGators Eat Ass at basketball. Mediocrity since the '04s. Vomit in my mouth. Billy D, what is wrong with your recruiting?

ReplyDelete#2 seed - Choice.
ReplyDeleteSo basically today's game vs. Kentucky meant nothing for seeding for the Gators. Must have been in due RPI as a two pregame.
Rough game today vs. Kentucky, but now the goal is to make it out of the first damn weekend!!!
Go Gators!!!
I was very surprised by the 2 seed also I thought they had to beat Kentucky to get it. I like their chances of making a deep run.
ReplyDeleteSweet 16 or Bust Gators!!!

ReplyDeleteUCSB was either really bad or we played brilliantly. How did they make the tourney, did they win their conf champ tourney?
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! (FROM EDSBS.com)
