  3. Haden declared for the draft. Get ready for a mass exodus. Expect Hernandez, Dunlap, Pounceys, and Wright to probably follow him out.

  4. The only skill significant offensive contributor returning next year that is a non RB/ATH is Deonte Thompson.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Drayton? Thought he left on not-so-good terms.

  6. I will be completely honest and say that I have absolutely no clue who is on our coaching staff besides, Meyer, Addazio, Heater and that WR coach we got from Central Michigan.

The voids shall be filled and a turning over a new leaf will be good for us.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Explain how Drayton is turning over a new leaf?

Percy Harvin is NFL rookie of the year. I'm glad he is doing so well.

  9. A) I don't even know who Drayton is, just the name and I believe he is a defensive coach.

    B) In my opinion if people want out get em out even if it means we take a recruiting hit or something. It was not too many moons ago that Zook was our coach. and look at us now.

  10. I believe that Percy just won the AP Offensive Player of the year, which is a seperate award than the ROY that the NFL determines. Regardless he will win ROY in a landslide. That guy is pimp.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Minnesota receiver Percy Harvin became the team’s ninth Pro Bowl player Monday. The NFL added him to the roster because Philadelphia’s DeSean Jackson originally made the team at two positions: Receiver and kickoff returner.

Jackson will serve as a receiver in the game, and Harvin will be the returner. He returned two kickoffs for touchdowns this season and finished the year with a 27.5-yard average per return.

  12. I'd like to know how much money Harvin got in contract incentives.

    Rookie of the Year.

Making the Pro Bowl as a rookie!!!

What is next the Super Bowl MVP?

    That guy is so $.

  16. A) You should find out and tell me how we are turning over a new leaf by hiring him.

    B) See Drayton!!!

    C) PH will win ROY in landslide? Do you read RA's posts?

    D) Please tell me how I am messing with you this time so I may enjoy it!

  22. I am declaring Florida National Champions this year even though we lost to Alabama I think we were the better team overall.

    ReplyDelete
  23. When will the team be visiting the White House Bruce?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hopefully not while Obama is there.

    ReplyDelete
  25. colt mccoy is a b*tch he ruined the championship game i bet if it was tebow he would have been in that game

    ReplyDelete
  26. I don't think Tebow would have sustained that injury from that hit, but with that said I don't think Tebow would be able to play if he couldn't feel his throwing arm. We wouldn't be able to pass.

    ReplyDelete
  27. A litttle research I did today out of curiousity:

There have been 12 BCS National Championship Games. The SEC has had a representative in 6 of the 12 games. The SEC is 6-0 in those games. Tennessee and Alabama with one win and Florida and LSU with two wins.

The Big 12 has the most appearances with 7, but is 2-5.

    Great stuff.

  28. espn has us ranked 11th for next year already i think that is a good place to start.

    ReplyDelete
  29. This recruiting class is shaping up to be real good. Already number 1 in ESPN rankings and could have some commitments from some top players this weekend at the AAA Game also with Pete Carroll maybe leaving there is some talk about some players committed to USC changing their minds. Cant wait till NSD to find out.

    ReplyDelete
  30. 11th is way too high. Let me just say I think we will finish lower than that. I'd say 15 is even a stretch but I'd love to be wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Enough of your glass half empty stuff Jeffrey.

I agree Mike, 11 is a great place to start. But we'll know better after January 15th (deadline for declaring for the draft).

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hopefully we don't have our typical 1 to 2 defections on NSD. Either way though it is looking good so far.

    ReplyDelete
  33. If you keep your glass half empty you cannot be let down.

    ReplyDelete
  34. commits from like 5 more big time players today we have the best recruiting class by far i believe

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yep some great pickups today the future looks great on the D. Just need to finish this class out with Hicks, Henderson and another top WR. Should have room for 4 more since we cant take more then 28 thanks to the SEC.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Why is the 28 limit related to the SEC?

    ReplyDelete
  37. i think Edwards is a good hire
dont know much about him but i know miami had a pretty good d this yr

    ReplyDelete
  38. CHRIST theres still a 4 star wr here from fl who has no commit yet and we are trying to get him

    ReplyDelete
  39. the wr cousin is chad ochocinco

    ReplyDelete
  40. The SEC last year put in a cap of 28 recruits a school can sign a year. The reason they did it was because some school were signing like 37 recruits (Ole Miss) even though they all were not going to make it in to the school. We are the only conference that has this rule.

    ReplyDelete
  41. What is The word on Dubose? Is he gonna be ready to roll this year?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I've not heard where he is at in recovery but he should be back next year.

    ReplyDelete
  43. One rumor was quite negative... basically saying that his hammy would never be the same. I've not see that rumor substantiated though and all other reports have been quite positive.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Dunlap and Maurkice Pouncy are gone while Mike Pouncy is staying. It must have been a hard for the twins to seperate, I'm sure they have been playing together their entire lives.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm surprised the twins are splitting up I figured they would have stayed together.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Twins are crazy unpredictable folk CRIST.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Kiffin is an ass, I hope Washington and Oregon beat up on him next season

    ReplyDelete
  48. i hope the ncaa slaps them with all kinds of shit screw kiffin he was scared of urban and are recruiting

    ReplyDelete
  49. Feel bad for Tennessee... he really screwed them. It will take them years to recover. I have no idea how they'll come up with a recruiting class this year.

    ReplyDelete
  50. In the end though they are better off.

  51. Willis, Miller pulling out of Tennessee
    By Phil Kornblut

Tennessee not only lost head football coach Lane Kiffin and some of his staff to Southern Cal Tuesday night, the Vols also lost their two commitments from Byrnes High School, DE Brandon Willis and DE Corey Miller. "I was just about to leave (Duncan for Knoxville) when that came on," said Willis who was going to join Miller as an early enrollee. "All my bags are packed. I'm talking to my dad right now trying to figure out what to do. I'm back open. I've got one more official visit. I might take it, I might not. UCLA is still in the mix. I won't stay in the state. And I won't go to Tennessee. They had the nerve to call me and ask me to come to Southern Cal. And coach Orgeron had just told me he was going to be my coach at Tennessee. Auburn just called me. I don't know what to say." Willis said Miller also will go elsewhere. "I think Corey will be on his way back," Willis said. "The don't start school until tomorrow. I think his parents are going to get him." Willis has not been available for comment. While Willis is not interested in the in state schools, Miller may be and USC is expected to make contact with him.

  52. Great read from Mark Schlabach of ESPN. Basically saying that Tennessee should be blessed to get rid of Kiffin. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/story?columnist=schlabach_mark&id=4820928

  53. Westlake H.S. (Georgia) linebacker Michael Taylor has dropped Tennessee and has committed to the University of Florida. Taylor was the MVP for the White Team in the recent Under Armour All Star Game.

So now we have committments from ALL of the MVP's of the U-A game and the A-A game.

  54. Don't know too much about Dooley but seems like Tenn. was desperate and just had to settle with what they could get.

Tebow is qb of the decade and Meyer is coach of the decade on Rivals.com's team of the decade

  56. Tebow will be in a SuperBowl commercial for a Christian Organization. It is rumored that it will probably be an anti-abortion message given his own birth story.

This could be just the beginning of some people turning their backs on him.

I am a devout Christian, but am pro-choice, that does not mean that I am pro-abortion. I hope his message meets the middle ground somewhere and that he doesn't come off as one of those guys outside the football stadium holding a sign about the Apocolypse.

I love the guy and his Christianity. I am just giving my opinion on potential backlash.

    ReplyDelete
  57. i agree with you totally peacock but hopefully the people around him his agent wont let that happen

  58. http://www.gainesville.com/article/20100117/ARTICLES/100119514/1118?Title=GPD-searching-for-former-Gator-Pierre-Louis

Apparently Wondy Pierre Louis is on the run from GPD due to domestic violence. I am very dissapointed in him, he was one of my favorite players because of his great name but not anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I can tell you that the ad spot is gonna be 100% pro life. A Christian Organization is not gonna run a spot saying anything otherwise.

Tebow is gonna do what he feels he should do. If it is possibly negative for his football career, I don't think he cares. Faith above football.

    ReplyDelete
  60. sucks about wondy feel bad for the guy his family just lost everything over in haiti his parents dropped him and his brother off in fl when he was 14 then they went back to haiti he has been on his own since hope he can deal with this i know he was about to launch a clothing line

    ReplyDelete
  61. I am very dissapointed in Wondy's (ex-)girlfriend for sleeping with that other dude. She was one of my favorite chicks, but not anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Save the mocking for peacock :) I am always disappointed when our players do something like this it makes our school look bad. I would also assume this would hurt his draft status ( if he had one) . I believe he had his court date this morning.

  63. Steve Babik the coordinator of the University of Florida's radio network, faces federal charges of distribution and possession of child pornography that were filed on Tuesday and has been fired by the school

    ReplyDelete
  64. Starlett Lazenberry, the girlfriend of former Florida football player Wondy Pierre-Louis, stood before the judge at first appearance on Tuesday morning and disputed claims attributed to her in a Gainesville police report.

"I do not fear for my life or anything like that,''' Lazenberry said of Pierre-Louis. "He's not a danger to anyone. He couldn't hurt a frog.''

    ReplyDelete
  65. That is a pretty normal response for a women who is going through domestic violence. They often will say that about their abuser afterwards. Although I do hope it is true and this is just some misunderstanding.

    ReplyDelete
  66. She probably deserved it and is now realizing to keep her mouth shut.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I met Wondy at a party and he was pretty inappropriate toward the women there. I haven't really liked him since then. I hope that he can get his act together though.

    ReplyDelete
  68. There are two sides to the Wondy story. It seems to me that both of them were wrong (and maybe unforgivable) as it relates to the other party. However, to those of us in the 3rd party these actions appear forgivable.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Regardless of what the chokee is saying, the dude was a fugitive. There is no right side to that. I love the guy for his punt fumble recovery for a TD in the SECCG in 2006, but besides that, he was no better than Corey Bailey.

I wish him well, but he is a FORMER Gator so this news is not news for UF any longer.

  71. EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Vikings rookie receiver/kick returner Percy Harvin missed practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the New Orleans Saints.

Coach Brad Childress said after practice that "it's hard for me to even handicap" whether Harvin can play Sunday.

Harvin began suffering symptoms of migraine headaches Thursday.

"They all vary in intensity and time period," Childress said.

  73. The ending to the bball game yesterday was sick!!!

    ReplyDelete
  74. That USC point guard was ridiculous!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Well at least Percy gets to play in the Pro Bowl now.

That costly fumble he had was bad, but it was a good strip by the defender, unlike Adrian Peterson who is owned by gravity when he carries the football.

  76. NEW YORK -- A national coalition of women's groups called on CBS on Monday to scrap its plan to broadcast an ad during the Super Bowl featuring college football star Tim Tebow and his mother, which critics say is likely to convey an anti-abortion message.

"An ad that uses sports to divide rather than to unite has no place in the biggest national sports event of the year -- an event designed to bring Americans together," said Jemhu Greene, president of the New York-based Women's Media Center.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I would have to say that I agree with the protest, not because I am pro-choice, but because I don't need a political message in my face while I am drinking beer.

    ReplyDelete
  78. And when I say I am pro-choice, I am not saying that I am pro-abortion.

    ReplyDelete
  79. And when I say I'm stupid I'm saying that I'm stupid "fresh"

  81. James, he is not a reserve. He got screwed. Horford made it as a reserve, which means made the team but not a starter. Lee can only make the team if someone gets injured or something like that and the commish chooses him. Lee is not an alternate or anything. There is no such thing.
