  4. Louis Murphy had 128 yds and 2 TDs on 4 receptions, Percy had 79 yds and a TD receiving and 22 yds rushing. Now I see why we are hurting so bad at the receiver position.

  5. I am disheartened but not surprised at how many people feel the need to mock Christianity just because they are happy to see Tebow lose a dang football game. This group surprisingly includes other Christians.

It is so rampant and wrong. It really is embarrasing that people think like that.

I wish Lane Kiffin to lose every game he ever coaches but I don't mock his beliefs or his values.

I mean it's not like Tim Tebow believes in Scientology or some oddball thing like that.

We are indeed a nation of morons.

  8. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP)—Florida Gov. Charlie Crist thinks Tim Tebow could be the answer to the Jacksonville Jaguars attendance problems.

Crist said Monday that he’s talked with the Jaguars ownership about taking the celebrated Florida quarterback in the NFL draft next April as a means to sell more season tickets and keep the team from moving out of Jacksonville.

About 17,000 fans chose not to renew their season tickets this year, many citing the economic climate. About 30,000 seats were empty Sunday for Jacksonville’s 23-18 victory over Houston.

Tebow, who grew up in Jacksonville, won the Heisman Trophy in 2007 and led the Gators to a national

  9. The school has called a meeting of the personnel committee of the Louisville Athletic Association Board of Directors for Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. ET, where it is expected that the board will be asked to approve the hiring of Strong, a source close to the search said Tuesday.

Strong interviewed with Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich on Sunday in Gainesville. He is expected to be introduced in Louisville on Wednesday.

  10. Thanks for the great defenses you gave us Charlie. I wish you all the best.

Factoid - this will be his second head coaching job as he was the head coach of the Gators after Zook left after the FSU game and Strong was named our head coach for the debacle that was the Peach Bowl vs. Miami.

  16. What all does bullshitting entail?

I say Tebow voted for Ingram.

  17. Hey Mike I was bullshitting with Urban now whats up.

  18. There is zero chance that Tebow wins the Heisman. I bet hands down and agree with James that he voted for Ingram.

There is really no reason for him to even go to NYC besides he is a senior and he'll get good interviews.

Tebow is not winning it period. And he doesn't care period.

  19. So do you guys think Tebow will win the Heisman?

  20. Scott Martin says Chris Rainey is thinking of going pro. He has about as much chance of being successful at the next level as Brandon James. No disrespect, but they don't use those kind of players in the NFL besides as returners at best.

  21. I heard Tebow was a frontrunner for the Heisman this year.

  24. Did anyone watch the college award show tonight? If not there was a skit with Tebow and McCoy and McCoy was telling Tebow to wash his car and to be carful with it and Tebow responded that he would try not to scratch it up with all of his rings. Thought it was pretty funny.
Also Hernandez won for best TE and Pouncey won for best center.

  25. McCoy hasn't seemed to be all that friendly with Tebow this year in some of his comments. How did they seem on the show?

  26. Seemed kinda of fake to me or it could be that they both just really suck at acting

  29. Dooley was on the Frank Frangie show today and said BG knew about the party when CD got drunk and told no other coaches about it and did not try to stop it.

Said there were about 12 of the guys out at Cantina 101 (Ruth Ann's favorite place... don't know why she didn't put a stop to the nonsense) drinking pretty heavily.

  30. CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP)—Illinois fired almost half of Ron Zook’s staff Friday but said the fifth-year head coach will keep his job in spite of a 3-9 season—the second-straight losing year for the Illini.

didnt think they would keep him

  31. Meyer hired Central Michigan assistant Zach Azzanni to be the team’s receivers coach Friday. Azzanni replaces Billy Gonzales, who resigned to become passing game coordinator at LSU.

Azzanni worked for Meyer at Bowling Green (2001-02) and remained there four years after Meyer left for Utah in 2003. Azzanni returned to his alma mater, Central Michigan, as receivers coach in 2007 and spent the last three seasons there.

  33. Glad all of these lame awards shows are over. Now Tebow can just concentrate on his last game as a Gator.

  34. It is almost shameful that Tebow was invited to the Heisman Show in person. He got 5th place by so so much and it was known after the Bama loss that he would not win it.

It is as if he was invited so they would have better ratings or somehow validate inviting him as a lifetime achievement honor.

    Buisness is business though.

  38. Florida coach Urban Meyer, who announced Saturday night that he would step down after coaching the Gators against Cincinnati in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day, is now having second thoughts about retirement, a source close to the situation told ESPN.com on Sunday.

Under a plan being discussed, Florida offensive coordinator Steve Adazzio would coach the Gators in the Sugar Bowl. Meyer, who cited health concerns as the reason for his retirement, would take a leave of absence and return to the team before the 2010 season.

However, a source close to the program told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen that Meyer would take a leave of absence for the entirety of the 2010 season. Adazzio would take over as interim coach for the season.
