  1. Earnest Graham has agreed to a four-year deal worth $11-million with the Bucs. Nice!!!

  2. So much for having a solid starting RB. Pfft!!!

    From The Gainesville Sun:

The hard-working Moore has earned the right to start, but chances are good he'll be sharing time with as many as three others — Rainey, who had a huge spring game, Moody and James.

  3. Junior Dorian Munroe, expected to start alongside Major Wright at safety this season, will require season-ending surgery after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

  4. Teddy Dupay was in the news this weekend... he has not aged or faired well. He was at the alumni basketball game in early June and apparently played lights out, but said he hadn't picked up a basketball in 4 years.

  5. Albeit he was a Gator for 3 years, the dude got kicked off the team for rumors about him asking students to place bets on Gator bball games for him.

I think it is a bit misleading to have a headline on ESPN saying former Gator arrested on rape charges. Yes he is a former Gator, but he was released.

Just my quandry of the day.

  6. VERY interesting article regarding season ticket sales at the football schools in Florida.

If you read down to the excerpt on Miami and you are very good at calculus you can extrapolate and ascertain that the Hurricanes sold 82 season tickets this year!

"Miami Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt recently told Florida Today that the Hurricanes' sales for their first season at Dolphin Stadium are double what they were a year ago for the final season in the Orange Bowl.

  7. From ESPN:

The Knicks will sign guard Anthony Roberson later Wednesday, which further indicates that Stephon Marbury might be a goner with New York.

Roberson's agent, Chris Grier Luchey, told 1050 ESPN that Roberson should sign a two-year deal for a little more than $1.6 million.

Roberson has previously played with the Warriors and the Grizzlies. He has averaged 4.1 points in 36 career NBA games. He played his college ball at Florida.

  8. Florida quarterback Tim Tebow beat out Kansas State's Michael Beasley and North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough for the top male college athlete at the ESPY Awards on Wednesday night.

  9. Good for Roberson. Typically guys that just hang around just fade away.

On that note, Donnel Harvey played at the alumni game last month. Other players included Noah, Green, Damitrus Hill, Dupay, Moss, Roberson, and some others.

  10. Yes, LOL at ref$u. They blame this on the economy? Then why are season tix sold out at Florida at $4000+ over their price??

  11. You gotta read this review of NCAA football 09. Classic!

SUPERMAN? I ran a play in which Tebow failed to gain any yardage at all running up the middle, which is preposterous. Not only that, but he was slow getting up, almost as if he were injured, which is impossible. And Tebow being intercepted is just not acceptable. Nothing can stop Tebow from dominating. EA Sports should know that.

  12. Let's hope our secondary has improved so we don't see plays like the first one in that video from OSU's offense.

  13. To what is Urban Meyer referring?

"That wasn't right. It was a bad deal. And it will forever be in the mind of Urban Meyer and in the mind of our football team. ... So we'll handle it. And it's going to be a big deal."

  14. The only thing he can possibly and should possibly be making that kind of statement about is the shyte Georgia Bulldogs and their Richt-induced endzone orgy.

  15. 5 of the SEC schools we play this year have new starting QBs. Brandon Spikes and co. better exploit that.

    Kentucky
    LSU
    Ole' Miss.
    South Carolina
    Tennessee

  16. How many schools have 3 or more starters on their o-line? That is usually a positive for us.

  17. The Gators had better give UGA a fiery death of a loss on the field this year. That is a must-win game, albeit a very challenging matchup.

Also, Richt is lying his ass off.

Richt regrets incident against UF and Jeffrey is Right

  18. Gainesville comes in 6th. Valdosta, GA 1st. ESPN reaped the rewards of their marketing on Title Town, but after Valdosta, GA came in 1st, I don't think anyone will take a future "Title Town" promo very seriously.

However, at least Knoxville or some other crap town didn't win nor finish ahead of us.

  19. T. Green traded to Knicks. Unfort. prob. only to ride pine or go to d-league, but hopefully he'll get some time.

  23. UGA ranked #1 in first coaches poll! That sets them up for a nice fall. I don't think they can handle that pressure.
