  3. Excited in Dallas. Looking forward to a more aggressive offensive gameplan.

  4. I really like all the hires especially Weis I think it will help recruiting in a big way.

  5. It will be interesting to see how old Indians/new Chiefs and old Chiefs/new Indians coexist within our coaching staff.

  6. I am excited that we will have plus-six yard vertical routes!!!

  7. I'm going to miss knowing exactly what the offense is going to do every down, the 2nd and 10 botched snap and the 3rd and 18 dive or screen play.

  8. Highly excited to be able to recruit power backs like Fred Taylor vs homerun or strikeout 165 lb trackstar RBs.

  9. It was awesome. I have an extra copy of it on DVD if anyone missed it.

  10. Janoris Jenkins will be coming back for his senior year. Really thought he would be gone since they were saying he was going to be a 1st round pick

  11. Looks like he had the same surgery as you did Chris. Maybe you can shed some light on it. Torn labrum.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Well the labrum is a lining that helps keep your shoulder from dislocation. Unlike your hip where its a ball and socket. With the bone surrounding the ball to not allow it to dislocate. The shoulder is more like a golf ball and tee. So the labrum helps secure the ball to the tee and does not allow it fall off. If it is torn and makes it easier for your shoulder to dislocate. I never had that happen but I had a sharp pain every time I threw a football or raised my hand above my hand. You can play through it cause I dealt with it for over a year before I did anything about it. To fix it they put anchors in to re attach the torn part. First six weeks you are in a sling and can't do anything and normal recover is about 4-6 months just depending on how bad of a tear it was.

  13. Pat Dooley huge bonehead tweet scenario. He called Frank Beamer personally today to apologize. Dooley is a waste.
    ___

On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs were hosting the Baltimore Ravens in a playoff game. The middle of the turf (between the hashmarks) at Arrowhead Stadium had a different look, a lighter shade than the rest of the field.

On Sunday, Dooley tweeted the following...

@pat_dooley why does kansas city's field look like Frank Beamer's face?

For those that don't know, Frank Beamer is the head coach of the Virginia Tech Hokies. At the age of 7, a gasoline explosion caught his clothes on fire. He lived, but for the next three years he underwent roughly 30 operations. Scarring is still visible on his face and neck.

  14. WOW what an ass and if he knew about what happen to him that makes him an even bigger ass.

    ReplyDelete
  15. WOW Urban Meyer hope you enjoyed your family at the NCG in Arizona

    ReplyDelete
  16. Thanks Chris. How is your recovery coming along?

  17. Peacock, how is that Gator related? That belongs in the random posts. I'm surprised the post Nazi hasn't deleted it already.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well James, Dooley is the Gator beat writer and more importantly, I am the post nazi!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Jamie I think he has you beat the post nazi can pretty much to what he wants also the shoulder is doing pretty well got almost all my range of motion back. Mike as much as it sucks seeing him working after he said he wanted to spend time with his family him doing that is not even close to him working as a coach. Coach equals to staying late every night during the season and off season is nonstop recruiting compared to doing one night for the game also last month when he did the same thing for the Boise State game he brought his family to the games.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Great to hear about your motion. So that second surgery was much better? Was it a different surgery?

Also, good points regarding Meyer. As for the post Nazi, not so much.

    ReplyDelete
  21. The second surgery was different. What they did was put a nerve block into my shoulder and the doctor stretched the hell out of my shoulder to brake up all the scar tissue that was limiting my range of motion.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Also James, why is this not on the random posts?

More importantly, Jamie is beating around the bush.

The only question is will you be able to start at corner for the Gators eight months post surgery and with rehab?

  23. Me yeah not so sure about Jenkins though.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Never seen this guy play before. Damn he's good. Great highlight compilation including plays from the Under Armour game a few weeks ago.

    Holy Jeff Driskel

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yeah I have heard some great things about him and saw him play in the UA game and he played pretty well.
So what is your guys opinion on Brantley do you want him back. I personally think he will be fine under Weis and will be a great QB next year. The offense this year just was not right for him.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Granted the system was awful for Brantley last year, but I just don't think he is a good QB. I'd rather have Driskel start rather than waste a year on Brantley. He makes me want to vomit in my mouth.

So I guess my answer is I hope he transfers or stays and rides pine but gets his diploma. He aint going pro, that's for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't think Brantley can read defenses and call correct audibles, I think he has very poor pocket awareness and I think he locks onto only one receiver and consequently is often in the fetal position getting sacked.

He is hands down the worst Gator QB in my opinion since I started at UF in 1996. No question.

And while we are at it, Deonte Thompson is the worst WR during that same time span.

Will Hill was only slightly better than Corey Bailey.

    ReplyDelete
  28. What i heard on the local stations here is Brantley will return. and that Trey Burton will move to safety next year

    ReplyDelete
  29. Twitter feeds I follow say Jenkins may go pro afterall. He has until only Friday afternoon to announce. I bet he goes and he should.

    ReplyDelete
  30. jenkins goes to jail nice

    ReplyDelete
  31. Gators Eat Ass at basketball. Mediocrity since the '04s. Vomit in my mouth. Billy D, what is wrong with your recruiting?

    ReplyDelete
  32. This team frustrates me so much how can you be so horrible at free throws its pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The next time I watch these Gators will be in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Not even the SEC. Garbage teams we've had since the 0-4's. Pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Meyer took job with ESPN. Will do one game a week and in studio analysis.
