  1. Seniors, but Black and Henry especially thanks for everything. Pouncey, Paul Bunyan you are not.

  2. I wanna call at least 51% BS on calling Gator fans spoiled and band wagoners for not showing up in full effect yesterday. This team is a disaster to the fans. They have consistently failed to the worst degree. These are not just losses we have endured. They are complete embarassments. Also, calling out fans for not going to see a fucking game against a fucking FCS team is a bunch of bull. That's a scheduling faux paus akin to the damn scheduling of Furman for 2011. Fix the product athletic department, coaches and players. The fans showed up three night home games in a row and you mananged to end up 116th out of 120th in redzone offense. Uninspiring play does not deserve asses in seats. Silent protest against coaching and scheduling.

The three others that post on here please voice your opinions. I do not mind being wrong. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

  3. I agree with you I don't understand why we continue to schedule FCS teams this late in the season or any point of the season so not going to the game for that reason I agree with but I still think you go no matter how crappy they are playing.

  4. I don't post a lot but I do read often. The stands actually got pretty full yesterday. Pretty empty to start but I think 80-85% full by half time, then of course emptied early. We left after the third quarter.

I think even if we had been playing better this season we would not have had a full stadium, it's a crap team, the week before thanksgiving, at noon, after a long season of late games, people are going to pick this game to skip. Although I'm sure many people skipped for the same reason you did Peacock.

I agree our coaching sucks and we should get some better teams for these games but we are gator fans win or lose (of course it's much easier when we win) and we have been lucky that through our years we have mostly won. But even if our coaching staff stays the same next year and we lose every game I will still go to every home game I can (even the crappy teams). I won't be happy, I won't enjoy it but I'm a fan "in all kinds of weather" and I know eventually the tides will turn and we will win again. And no one will be able to call me a bandwagon fan.

And please, please Gators make my trip to Tallahassee next week worth my dedication becuase it really is much easier to be a fan when we win.

  5. I would hate to see the Gators end up like FSU and UM where they can barley fill up half their stadium I don't think that will ever happen. I can't remember but how was it during the Zook era were the stands still full for every game.

  6. Well said in all aspects R.A. :)

I'd have loved to have come up yesterday just to take Joseph to a game. He was under the weather though, but I'd be lying if I said I'd have taken my entire day to go see that staff and a large portion of heartless players.

I did follow it on the radio and support the team in and out although I know my comments do pretty much contradict each other.

I guess I just have so much passion for them that I am even rooting for them by rooting against them. Cuz I only root against them sometimes so things will get better. Like I was sort of hoping we lost yesterday or even lose to FSU so the bottom of this staff falls out and Addazio cannot possibly be kept.

Meyer is such a pansy. Foley really needs to step in and just do Meyer's firing for him if Meyer doesnt' want to be the bad guy.

Same with the playing of Brantley. We are going nowhere with him.

  7. i went all week saying i wasn't going to the game nor was i going to watch it but when i woke up on Saturday i couldn't make myself not watch it and ended up in a bar with the game on but i agree with the lackluster performances we've had this year i dont look down on anyone not showing up for this one your ill will towards pouncey i don't agree with he just wasn't suppose to be playing center that was a coaching call i think i think the player had heart and truly cared about the football team

  8. Mike I thought Pouncey came back to play center to try and improve his draft stock.

  9. I don't remember the stands not being full when Zook was here. I think with any SEC game no matter our record we are going to have a full stadium, we are not the ACC.
And honestly I won't mind a few down years, it will make it much easier for me to pick up 2 more season tickets!

  12. 1. Great post RA.
    2. From what I'm told our stands were pretty full in 1979 when we went 0-10-1.
    3. Peacock's opinion of Mike Pouncey is his and his alone. Pouncey is a great Gator.
