  1. Had my first "It was great to see Tebow get laid out" comment today. I wanted to slug the dude. Had to bite my tongue as much as I could cuz it was a flippin customer.

We are not talking about a bruised rib or a twisted ankle hear. He could have easily been paralyzed.

I wouldn't wish that on anyone, not even Pete Warrick or other thugs we run into.

    Insane, yet not surprised.

  8. Extra planes to Kentucky cost UF $4,055
Florida Today has learned that the cost for Florida to send its two extra airplanes to Kentucky for the Gators' 41-7 win in late September had a minimal impact on its budget _ at a cost of $4,055 for the trip to Lexington and back.

Since the University Athletic Association owns and operates the two extra planes _ a King Air and Citation _ the only cost was for fuel.

The planes were necessary to keep sick UF players _ including quarterback Tim Tebow _ apart from the rest of the team.

The total football team travel budget for 09-10 fiscal year is $871,000, which is part of the UAA budget
