  1. GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP)—Tim Tebow is coming back.

The Florida quarterback told a crowd celebrating the school’s latest national title that he wants to lead the Gators to another championship.

Tebow thrilled the crowd by saying: “Oh, by the way let’s do it again. I’m coming back.”

In 2007, Tebow became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy. In the Gators’ 24-14 win over Oklahoma on Thursday night, Tebow completed 18 of 30 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 109 yards.

  2. These nimrods with their constant articles about Utah and not knowing who the real champion is. Keep writing those articles to try to sell newpapers.

    ___

The Gators covered the spread in every single game besides our loss to Ole Miss vs. tougher opponents. Utah did not cover in all games.

In the final top 25, the Gators beat four (#5 Oklahoma, #6 Alabama, #13 Georgia and #21 FSU) and lost to one #14 Mississippi.

Utah beat 3 (#6 Alabama, #7 TCU and #25 BYU.)

The Gators played 11 teams that went to bowls. Utah played 6.

    GAME OVER haters.

  3. From Heisman Pundit:

I am surprised that Tebow is returning, though with his recent surgery, it makes sense. The people who think he should be an H-back in the NFL are nuts and are typical of the arrogant mentality that surrounds that league.

  6. LOL from EDSBS:

According to Chip Brown of Rivals (via a radio interview,) Sam Bradford will announce his return to Oklahoma at a press conference at 5:30. The conference is expected to last somewhere between 14 and 54 minutes depending on whether Major Wright is in the room or not.

  7. Mark Sanchez leaving should hopefully dump on USC's parade.

  8. Percy should be the third WR off the board behind Crabtree and Missouri's Maclin. He just needs to keep that heel in check and sign a dope contract.

It'll be interesting to see how C.I. does. Here's hoping him the best.

Who else we got that's gonna get drafted?

Just Trautwein and Murphy? Am I missing anyone?

  10. It was a simple toss sweep at the goal line on this sunny January afternoon in 2006. The ball was spotted at the two-yard line and the play was designed for Chris “Beanie” Wells to show what happens when 230 pounds of power smells touchdown. Wells might have smelled touchdown when the play began but he needed some smelling salts when it was over. Wells no sooner squared his shoulders to the goal line than he had a near out of body experience courtesy of Mr. Spikes.

The impact of the hit knocked Wells off his feet. Brandon Spikes buried his helmet in Wells’ chest and drove him to the ground. The air rushing from Wells’ lungs echoed off the concrete seats of 6,500 seat Southside ISD Stadium. Spikes jumped to his feet, surrounded by players from both sides of the ball. Wells remained on the turf, trying to shake the cobwebs. It was obvious he had never been hit that hard.

Spikes walked over to Wells and helped him up. Wells tried to follow Spikes into the defensive huddle and Spikes not once, but twice pointed him to the other side of the line where the offense was waiting for him.

“That’s what I do,” said Spikes later that afternoon after practice was over for the East team at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. “I hit people and they go down.”

  24. Wow. Kiffin is an idiot.

Jeremy Foley has never spoken out in the media to defend one of his coaches. This includes the swindle in The Swamp, dockett Gate, and playing to the echo of the whistle. He must really be pissed off this time.
