  1. Wow, that coach is really upset and outspoken about it. Horford averaged 10 pts and 9 rbs. Durant averaged 20 pts, right? How many rbs?

  2. Maybe the coach thinks leading his team to the playoffs is more important. Seattle only won like 30 games i think. Although the award is for the best rookie not the best team with a rookie on it.

  3. Horford was da man. However critics say that he had a better supporting cast around him, thus his better numbers. Pfft!!!

  4. Finch released. Will Transfer.

    ___

Finch, who suffered a knee injury last year in the third game of the season and missed the rest of his freshman season, would not have been academically eligible to compete for the Gators in the fall.

He is expected to transfer back to his home state, either to Indiana or Indiana State

  8. I'll be working as a counselor for OSU undergraduate and graduate students and sometimes their families/spouses. I just found out for sure that my start date is September 1 so I'll move mid-August.

I'm already looking into coming back for Miami and LSU!

  9. This is absolutely ridiculous. Goodbye Jamar.

    ___

Florida safety Jamar Hornsby turned himself in Friday for allegedly using the credit card of a woman killed six months ago in an accident that also killed a teammate, The Gainesville Sun reported.

Hornsby, 21, a sophomore from Jacksonville, faces charges of credit card theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.

He allegedly used a credit card issued to Ashley Slonina, a University of Florida student who died in an October 2007 motorcycle accident that also took the life of Gators walk-on Michael Guilford. It was not known how Hornsby obtained the card, the newspaper reported.

Hornsby is accused of using the card starting Oct. 13, 2007, the day after the woman's death, the Sun reported.

  10. Jaime, that is great! I can't think of a group more in need of counseling than the students at OSU. You'll be VERY busy! Excellent job security for you!

  14. Anyone want any away game tix (UT, ARK, VANDY, or ref$u)? I'm thinking about going to UT and *maybe* ARK.

Or home game tix (Hawaii, Ole Miss, The Citadel)?

If so let me know... I'm probably ordering tomorrow.

  17. I am skipping Hawaii this year since Miami is the next weekend.

Peacock, you can have my 2 for Hawaii. You want them?

Gollum, you can have my Citadel tix but at this point I'm planning on going to Ole Miss. If I change my mind you can have them too. I was actually asking because we can order extra home game tix for those 4 games on our away game order form. Are you ordering some for Emma and/or Cassie?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ill take 2 Hawaii tickets if you can get them also..

    ReplyDelete
  19. I am not ordering extras right now i figure I can probably get them from Star if I need to.

  24. Who said this?

“Regardless of what happens in the pros, these years in Gainesville will always be the best years of my life and the ones I will remember the most,” he said. “I’ve got a lot of homes and I’ve had a lot of homes, but this place is where I’m probably most comfortable. This is the place that I miss when I’m away. I love Coach Donovan, I love the University of Florida … this place will always be the best for me.”

  25. Less than two months after undergoing surgery on his heel, Florida wide receiver Percy Harvin is already running again. Well, sort of.

He's started running in a pool, which is a very good sign, UF coach Urban

Meyer said before Thursday night's Gator Gathering at the Grand Hyatt.

"It's real positive right now," Meyer said. "I just talked to (strength and conditioning coach) Mickey Marotti five minutes ago and Percy is almost

200 pounds. He's 199. His attitude is terrific.

"He's real strong right now. He didn't go home for the break (after the

spring semester). He stayed and rehabilitated. He's doing very well. He's ahead of schedule."

  26. James, I'd say Noah, but that answer seems too easy and Richesque.

    2nd guess - Horford.

    ___

Chicago Bulls basketball player Joakim Noah, the son of French former tennis star Yannick Noah, was charged on Sunday with possession of marijuana.

Police in Gainesville, Florida, where Noah starred on two national collegiate championship teams with the University of Florida, said the player was spotted by officers on a street in the downtown bar district early on Sunday with a cup containing alcohol.

  29. They can just replace Bob Marley's face with Noah's on the famous Marley picture with him surrounded in weed smoke.

I would never imagine Noah would smoke pot, never. That just doesn't fit his multi-national dread-lock rasta juxtoposition. You faked me good Noah. You wisenheimer you!!! ;)

  30. Noah must have gotten a hold of Marcus "Ganja" Thomas' cell #.

  31. Christ what is your email?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Leave Noah alone. We both have gotten arrested for similar, the only difference is that he is more of a public figure (well at least until Peaock's Giant Face came about.) We all should have been smarter.

    ReplyDelete
  33. GREAT to hear from you CHRIST! I've been thinking about you. Take care over there.

    And yeah, what Gollum said!

  34. I hope you picked up on my sarcasm, I was laying it on pretty thick.

The guy prob. smokes weed 24/7 and I could care less. He's still a monster.

The only downside is the UAA possibly distancing themselves from him, which would be unfortunate. He has shown no remorse, nor will he. I don't really care what the UAA does though. We gots two trophies, F it.

  35. I get you Richard. I just don't like dwelling on it. I'd much rather dwell on how many autographs he signed after the SECCG win this year or what type of passionate kid he is.

I saw the news well before you posted it, but I usually don't post these kinds of articles unless it directly impacts an upcoming game.

He has shown no remorse? To who, you? Did you read the "Noah gets probation, fine" article in the Gville Sun or the ESPN article?

  36. The email address is thomashunis2004@yahoo.com and mom has my address here also. I will try and keep in touch as much as possible.

  37. James - "He has shown no remorse? To who, you? Did you read the "Noah gets probation, fine" article in the Gville Sun or the ESPN article?"

    ___

    This is all I've seen:

"He's realized he made a mistake," Donovan told the newspaper. "I want to see what happens with everything that went on there. In my conversation with him, he feels bad.

    ___

Again, I'm not concerned about his Cheech and Chong activities. He defin. answered the question. "Would someone from the Gators please drive the lane?"
